FRANKENSTEIN by Sitian

I got the first post! Yaay!
But yes, a little bit about my thoughts behind this.
It's all about me feeling pretty sorry for this creature, because lets face it, he's really sad. Created for no good reason, then kicked off as a monster and exiled. I think he'd try a bunch of different faiths to see if he can find a reason for existing. This is his catholic phase. I don't think it would give him much comfort in the end.

Lineart was made with gouache on watercolor paper, 300g. Colors and textures in photoshop.

And just because I like it, here's the empty lineart.

Theme #1: Frankenstein!

Draw your interpretation of the classic monster, Frankenstein!

Be as creative as you want!

Concept and Guidelines

Concept:
The idea of this blog is to bring together artists to contribute art as they follow a theme.  By doing this, viewers will be able to see a variety of styles and thought processes as artists tackle a similar problem. Please enjoy!

Guidelines:
1.  This is for fun.  We're here for the art.  Be nice in both posts and comments.
2.  As a contributor, you can submit any sort of artwork as long as it follows the current theme.
3.  Artwork should not go past an R-rating.  Violence and nudity/sexual themes are allowed as long as it's done tastefully.  It would be great to keep the blog safe for work, but those subjects are very strong themes in art.
4.  Theme suggestions can be added to this post at anytime, so please comment here whenever you get a good idea. Themes can be comic characters, objects, actions, emotions, and anything else.
5.  Contributors are added by invitation.  However, if you think your work fits within what we're trying to do, please send Kristal a message.  Once we have more contributors, your addition may be put up to a vote with those already part of the group.  We hate to exclude anyone, but we want to avoid adding contributors that will only post once and then disappear forever.
6. That said, it is NOT a requirement to post with each new theme.  There is no pressure.  Do whatever inspires you, but know that we always want to see your beautiful art. <3
7.  Lastly, please remember to TAG your post with the chosen theme.  Like that it'll be easier to see the groups of submissions.
